A partnership itself does not pay tax. Instead, each partner is taxed individually on their share of the partnership’s profits. The partnership must file a Partnership Tax Return with HMRC, and each partner must also complete their own Self Assessment return. Partners pay income tax and National Insurance on their allocated profits.
